This app displays a Web page selected by the user on the device lock screen.
The chosen page will be shown whenever the display goes off then on, even if the device it's not locked.
Note that it's not a lock screen wallpaper, it's an app that's placed over the lock screen. This means that your current wallpaper, if you have one, will still be on your lock screen, when you press the home button from the app. You get to keep both. Also, it will look better than on the lock screen, mixed with time and date and weather info and whatever else you have there. If you really like a picture or anything else on your lock screen, you view it in WebLock.
It also means that Android is still in charge of locking and unlocking your phone, you don't have to worry this might be done in an unsafe way.
As a safety precaution, if the device is hard-locked, the domain cannot be changed while on the lock screen. If it's only swipe-locked, this restriction doesn't apply.
For now, the app is in English only. But the user interface is very simple, so one can most likely get along with it by using a Net translator on the help file.
Enjoy your favorite Web site on your Android device lock screen with WebLock.
Hint: set your phone display to switch off automatically after a minute or so. This way you'll save a lot of battery time. (And to lock itself, at least with a swipe lock.)
If you do, and if you've installed WebLock, your favorite Web site will pop up whenever the phone goes on again.
It's on Google Play for over a year now (starting with version 1.0) and nobody has ever complained about it so it's as safe as can be.
Whoever writes a positive review + rating receives an ads-free license for when I get to introduce ads / payed version.
On Android versions starting with 8.0, for some obscure reason, very rarely it will crash at begin, right after installation. If it happens to you, this is what you should do:
- if you have an older version, install the current one
- if it happens with the current version, try restarting your device (just once after installing the app), it will probably fix it.
A few good uses for the app:
- Phone personalizing
- To do list / reminder app

The Net is full of literally millions of great images to suit everybody's taste. From Michelangelo fans to cat lovers. So the simplest and most powerful way to personalize your phone is to just choose one you really like and point to it from WebLock.
A good place to start is WebLock's own image gallery. Optimized for viewing on a phone. There's landscapes, flowers and a few Michelangelo masterpieces. And more.
An elegant way to truly personalize your phone: put your photo on the Net somewhere (social media, photo-sharing site or blog) and point to it from WebLock.
Or, if you need to do something important and want to make sure you don't forget about it, write a note somewhere on the Web and point to it from WebLock. Then it will pop up regularly on your lock screen. Very helpful if you're a bit forgetful.
