HELP & SETTINGS

Editors' Review

It takes confidence to enter the overcrowded CD-burning market, and Visual MP3 CD Burner has a right to that confidence. The installation runs smoothly and in seconds offers to launch the program and display the help file. You'll hardly need help, though, because the program is easy to use. Visual MP3 CD Burner includes many advanced features without making it too complicated. The main window presents basic features such as Add Files, Delete, Play, and Erase CD. The lack of a traditional menu along the top of the program window is unusual but not bad. When you press Play, a little player pops up and shows a visualization of the track. The best feature is that, when you drop a file into the writing folder, the program automatically displays how much free space is left on your CD-R or CD-RW. Another mighty helpful thing is being able to produce a CD cover with a track list, times, and a title for the compilation. The software will appeal to those looking for a new CD burner that won't hog their hard drives.
