The Virtual Energy Manager (VEM), is a tool to help Small Businesses better manage their energy. The solution is a combination of a smart meter, Consumer Access Device (CAD) and cloud analytics using near real-time energy data. A user can view energy snapshots through a dashboard, add multiple sites, track historical spend and will receive personalised energy insights. Some insights include anomaly detection, target budget performance, average consumption and weather analysis for example. These actionable insights will help with awareness, knowledge and power for better control of energy use.
NB: The Virtual Energy Manager application requires a smart meter and a compatible connected CAD (Consumer Access Device) to feed data into a cloud platform.
