Problem with TTS?
Try this in the phone settings "Settings, System, Language & Input, Advanced, Text to Speech Output" Make sure that "Google Text-to-Speech Engine" is selected, after press the cog icon, "Install Voice" select Spanish.
This app will be very helpful if you already know some Spanish and have some knowledge about the verb tenses (Present, Preterite, Imperfect, etc) as this app focuses on the tense forms.
Application language is changeable but for now, it is Google translated.
I Recommend watching the video to see how Practice Card creation works https://youtu.be/fNYYeBEgCWc.
With this app, you can download practice cards or create your own, so you learn the verbs and conjugation you want to learn.
And share them with the database as well to make it easier for the new Spanish learners.
There is a lot of material out there, but due to Spanish is such a wide language and differs from place to place you can end up wasting time on learning words and expressions that you will never use.
Creating your practice card is perfect when you, for example, ask someone how you say a certain thing and you think afterward I will never remember that, write it down and make a practice card of it! :)
You have a lot of tools and options to tailor-make the best practice session for you.
Different input methods, answer cards with different tenses, random letters from the actual tense, keyboard.
Cards only discard when correct, always or never. (on the fly)
With text to speech (On supported devices).
Timer if you even want to make it harder.
If you are uncertain of the usage of the Spanish verb tense conjugation you can easily check it directly while doing the exercise!
In the Practice card section:
You have full control over your practice cards.
Easily check the statistics, percentage of answering correct, points, and streak.
Choose which ones you want to practice on, if you choose all, the ten with the lowest score will be selected.
You can solely focus on Spanish verbs and their conjugation tenses as well, in the verb drill section you can choose exactly what Spanish verbs and what tenses you want to practice.
If the Spanish verb doesn't exist, just add it to the verb list!
The idea of the app was due when I needed to practice the verbs I usually used notepad and pen, which is great, you have full control on what to study. But it isn't that convenient when waiting on the metro, on a bus or whenever there is some dead time to make use of.
With the app, you are always ready and can study directly and continue if you have a prepared deck whenever you have some time.
If there are any suggestions on how I can make it better please let me know.
Please send any suggestions or bugs you may have as detailed as possible to my mail
I have tried to do it as simple to use as possible, but there is always room for improvement! :)
The including Spanish practice cards in this app is more or less only there to give you some inspiration for your own cards.
If there are a bunch of verbs that you think is missing please mail med them and I will make sure they are included next release.
I hope the app will help you to master those hard-learned tenses! :)
