With UBS Welcome, persons resident in Switzerland can use this app to open a bank account online or for video-identification purposes with UBS Switzerland AG. Persons resident outside Switzerland can only use this app for video-identification purposes in relation to a client relationship with UBS Switzerland AG or another non-US affiliate of UBS Group AG. The availability of the App does not constitute a solicitation, offer or recommendation to establish a client relationship between the App user and any UBS Group AG entity.

FOR INDIVIDUALS RESIDENT IN SWITZERLAND

If you are resident in Switzerland you can now open a banking package in the comfort of your own home. Using the app saves you a trip to the bank. Youll be guided through each step of the account opening process.

Heres how to open your account online:

Step 1: Download the "UBS Welcome" app.

Step 2: If you have already received a QR or short code, scan or enter it. If not, select your banking package on ubs.com and initiate the opening process.

Step 3: Make sure you have your passport or identity card ready for the video call.

Step 4: Sign the contract directly in the app.

Step 5: Welcome to UBS. You'll get the documents for your banking package as well as your credit cards and debit card by post.
