Turner Auctions & Appraisals was founded by Stephen G. Turner to complement and expand the capabilities of Stephen G. Turner Associates, a San Francisco-based auction and appraisal consulting firm founded in 2004. A professional appraiser of personal property and a seasoned auctioneer, Stephen Turner has over 25 years experience with leading live and online auction houses in California and Western Canada. His areas of expertise include Fine Art, Decorative Arts, Antiques & Residential Contents.
Turner has made numerous appearances on TV, radio and newspapers. As a regular featured appraiser, Turner appeared on HGTV's 'Appraise It!' for five years and in the San Francisco Chronicle's Sunday appraisal feature, 'What's It Worth?', for 10 years. He is also a popular guest speaker on art and antiques at seminars and appraisal events in California. In addition, he has been a regular auctioneer in Northern California and makes frequent appearances at Bay Area charity auctions.
