Though it seems competent enough, Topee CD Ripper fails to distinguish itself and suffers from a miserly trial restriction. The interface is standard, making it readily apparent how to rip a CD to MP3, WAV, OGG, or WMA files. Like many of its competitors, the software lets you specify the bit rate and audio quality, as well as rip VBR MP3s. However, the trial version won't let you retrieve track information from the Web and only rips the first three tracks on a disc; considering how stiff this app's competition is, this restriction seems quite unreasonable. All factors considered, Topee CD Ripper seems like a slightly below-average choice.
