This freeware learning tool simplifies the execution of basic network commands, but lacks adequate explanation for their usage. The program's basic interface is a plain series of pull-down menus above a results window. ToggIT's only function is to simplify invoking network commands. Users click a menu item rather than type at a command-line prompt. The program then prompts a user for required parameters for select commands. You are expected to know basic networking and system-command usage. The application does not explain why or when to use a command. The help file lists only parameters. Students and beginning network users will appreciate prompts for parameters. Advanced users will enjoy the simplicity of invoking commands through pull-down menus.
