This utility converts audio files among MP3, WAV, WMA, OGG, and VQF formats and converts AC3/VOB files to any of those formats. In our testing, Super MP3 Converter produced good-quality files at a decent pace. You can open numerous audio files and set destination folders and formats separately for each. The program also can shut down the computer when finished, perfect for running a batch conversion overnight. The installation took somewhat longer than we expected, but you can choose whether to create a desktop icon and start the program automatically at the end. Though the main window wastes space, the program lacks the option to maximize it to view more of the file information. The settings appear to apply only to MP3 files, although we liked the built-in player. People who need to convert many audio files among popular formats should give Super MP3 Converter a try.

Super MP3 Converter converts audio files among MP3, WAV, WMA (Windows Media Audio), OGG, VQF, and AC3 (VOB) formats. Its user-friendly interface supports both drag-and-drop and shell operations of Windows Explorer. Most work can be done automatically with a few mouse clicks. You can convert many files in batches regardless of their source and target formats. Super MP3 Converter also supports playback of all audio files with its built-in player as well as audio-volume normalization, and encodes with Windows Media Audio 9 (WMA). Version 4.2.11 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.
