This program unobtrusively monitors Hard Drives and predicts their failure, using S.M.A.R.T technology. S.M.A.R.T or Self Monitoring Analysis and Reporting Technology is a system built into modern Hard Drives that can predict drive failure. Stellarworks Hard Drive Monitor 2012 interacts with this system and retrieves a drive's current S.M.A.R.T Status and Attributes, such as it's Temperature and Uncorrectable Sector Count. It reports this information via it's interface, a System Tray icon, and Email Alerts. The program also retrieves the device's serial number, features, and performs basic system maintenance to keep a computer running at optimal performance.
