If you have ever wanted to find all the pictures you took on a vacation, maybe even on different cameras, then you know that the way your camera makes folders doesn't help at all. With this utility, all your pictures go into folders named for the date of the picture, no matter where they came from. You can find the pictures you took on Christmas last year as easily as the pictures you took last week. Simply tell the program where to find you pictures, and where you want them to go, and click Start. You won't be asked what to do if there is already a file with the same name, because it is smart enough to decide what to do without ever overwriting your other pictures. You can choose to copy the file, leaving the original intact, or move the file to free up space on your memory card.
