Editors' Review

by   / February 27, 2009

This clock-enhancement application doesn't do anything groundbreaking, but it does add a bit of pizzazz to the standard system-tray digital clock. As you might guess from its name, this small utility places an analog clock with a transparent look on the desktop. However, unlike similar applications in this class, this one doesn't offer skins or sync your system clock with atomic servers. The help file and tool tips points to certain parts of the clock where you can click and customize simple settings options such as load at start-up and always stay on top. Other than that, there's not much to see in its 14-day trial. However, if you're tired of looking at that boring old Windows clock, you'll find SoftCollection's Transparent Analog Clock to be somewhat serviceable.
