SityFit is a free pedometer application which records the number of steps that you take every day thanks to its integration with the Apple Health app installed on your iPhone.

It works when your smartphone is in your hand, your pocket or even in your backpack.

The application is easy to use, intuitive, and does not require an online account.

Step values are displayed in tabs: today and yesterday, the last two weeks and by month.

Your results are displayed with beautiful charts and a monthly report in the form of a calendar.

Notifications with motivating animations will help you to live a healthier life.

WARNING: iPhone 4S, 5 and 5C do not have the chipset required for counting steps. The application will therefore only work on these devices if you have a fitness band which syncs data with the Apple Health app.

To keep fit and healthy, the World Health Organization (WHO) recommends 10,000 steps to be taken a day. But that is not so easy!

An average person takes between 4,000 and 6,000 steps a day and a sedentary person takes fewer than 3,000 steps.

At first a reasonable goal would be to increase the number of steps taken by 500 every week.

A second goal would be for you to try to reach 6000 steps a day on average for a week, and then for a month.

For your information, a 30-minute walk of moderate intensity represents around 3000 to 4000 steps.

Walking is therefore a very efficient physical activity for keeping fit throughout the year.
