Regardless of whether you are about to start meditating for the first time or already have been meditating for years, the meditation timer will take one thing off your mind - worrying about the time. Or in words of Alan Watts help you "get out of your mind" to "come to your senses".How it does that is by having a minimal number of colours and widgets, so that interaction with it is simple, easy and tolerant. Simply tap anywhere on the screen to start, or edge-swipe to access settings or set time.Sometimes its enough to only have a bell sound to mark the end of meditation and sometimes a visual guide and a counter can also be helpful.For maintaining a regular meditation practice reminders can be useful.
