Scrabblers Word Judge APP for Clubs and Tournaments has 2 lexicons to choose from. Depending on the agreed upon option by players, either (1) WGPO-WJ2 or (2) WJ Global can be used. The lexicon is used to verify whether or not a Scrabble player's play is good (ACCEPTABLE) or not good (UNACCEPTABLE). The functionality is useful in crossword games such as Scrabble on line, Super Scrabble, isc.ro (International Scrabble Club), thepixiepit.co.uk, and Super-S Club play. Super Scrabble players use a board with 21x21 grid squares, allowing up to 21-letter words. "Super-S" is short for super scrabblers.
North American players use WGPO-WJ2 (sanctioned by Word Game Players' Organization) which has 203,714 words. International players use the World English list containing 295,041 words suitable for world championship events. Many international words are not acceptable in North America, therefore it is necessary to choose which word list is appropriate for a tournament. (1) WGPO-WJ2 : This lexicon was extracted from Word Judge USA and revised to include new words playable in crossword games, and retitled as WORD JUDGE FOR CLUBS AND TOURNAMENTS, Subtitled: The Official WGPO Word List of Word Game Players in North America Including Super-S Club Play. (2) WJ GLOBAL: This lexicon was taken from WORD JUDGE GLOBAL, The International English and Worldwide Word Source for Clubs and Tournaments Including Super-S Club Play, published by Maliha Mendoza Mahmood and Gary Bert Moss in 2015. Both lexicons are unique as it includes words containing 2- thru 21-letter words playable in the most favorite crossword game worldwide.
