This AppleScript rips each enabled (check-marked) CD track to iTunes and immediately copies it to iPod, deletes the file, and removes the track from the iTunes library, giving the appearance of seamless CD-to-iPod importing. You can also change your encoder on-the-fly and your Preferences-set encoder will be restored after the rip.

This solves the problem of ripping, transfering and then deleting files everytime I put a new CD on the iPod. Never had a problem with it!

Version: Rip To iPod 1.0
This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com. This script is absolutely perfect for those of us who are HD-space challenged with older Macs and lots of music. Before I found this, I spent 2 hours ripping 7 CDs and deleted the files BEFORE I dragged them to the iPod. This script saved my sanity... Thanks!
