This app is a guided walk around Sheringham Park, Norfolk UK, showing the visitor the work of the Eighteenth Century landscape designer Humphry Repton.Humphry Repton was a landscape designer who worked in the late 1700s and early 1800s. He grew up in Norfolk, and started his career as a designer in 1788. He produced 'Red Books' for each park and garden he worked at to show the owners his ideas. In 1812 he made the Red Book for Sheringham Park for the Upcher family. This app allows you to explore Reptons design for Sheringham, using images and quotes from his Red Book at a number of points around the Park.The app was produced by Ugly Studios for National Trust, Nottingham University, University of East Anglia and Arts and Humanities Research Council.
