PsychroAssay performs high-precision calculations of psychrometric processes between two determined single-state moist airstreams points. It implements the latest mathematical models for the simulation of the physics of water vapor, dry air and moist air as real gases. Given two different thermodynamic property values of moist air, a flow rate and an absolute pressure value as input parameters, the application calculates 14 psychrometric quantities for each of the two moist airstreams state points. Once these state points are determined, it allows to conduct a psychrometric analysis for seven different psychrometric processes between them. The results obtained are suitable for scientific or industrial use, HVAC, meteorology and related fields.-Performs all the calculations implementing the latest mathematical models used to generate the tables for moist air properties and thermodynamic properties of water in the 2009 ASHRAE Handbook of Fundamentals. -For the calculation of each State Point, it allows for 17 different combinations of thermodynamic properties to be entered as input parameters:Dry-bulb Temperature / Wet-bulb TemperatureDry-bulb Temperature / Dew Point TemperatureDry-bulb Temperature / Relative HumidityDry-bulb Temperature / Humidity RatioDry-bulb Temperature / Specific EnthalpyDry-bulb Temperature / Specific VolumeWet-bulb Temperature / Dew Point TemperatureWet-bulb Temperature / Relative HumidityWet-bulb Temperature / Humidity RatioDew Point Temperature / Relative HumidityDew Point Temperature / Specific EnthalpyDew Point Temperature / Specific VolumeRelative Humidity / Humidity RatioRelative Humidity / Specific EnthalpyRelative Humidity / Specific VolumeHumidity Ratio / Specific EnthalpyHumidity Ratio / Specific Volume -Output psychrometric properties for each State Point:Dry-Bulb TemperatureWet-Bulb TemperatureDew Point TemperatureMoist Air PressureWater Vapor PressureSaturation Water Vapor PressureHumidity RatioSaturation Humidity RatioRelative HumidityAbsolute Humidity Parts per million by weightParts per million by volume Enhancement FactorSpecific Volume of Moist AirDensity of Moist AirSpecific Enthalpy of Moist AirSpecific Isobaric Heat Capacity of Moist Air-The following psychrometric processes are calculated between State Point 1 and State Point 2:Sensible HeatingSensible CoolingHeating and HumidificationCooling and DehumidificationEvaporative CoolingHeating and DehumidificationAirstream Mixing-Output results for the psychrometric processes (not all results are available for each of the processes):Total HeatingTotal EnergySensible EnergyLatent EnergyMoisture DifferenceSensible Heat RatioEnthalpy/Humidity RatioSaturation Humidity RatioMass Humidification RateVolume Humidification RateDehumidificationCooling EffectivnessMass Evaporation RateVolume Evaporation RateSensible Energy per Dehumidification-Supports input parameters and calculation results in both SI (metric) and I-P (English) system of units.-Range of variables in the SI (metric) system of units:Temperatures : -143.15 T 350 [C]Relative Humidity: 0 RH 100 [%]Humidity Ratio: 0 W 10 [kg/kg]Pressure: 22000 P 180000 [Pa]Altitude (approximate): -5120 Altitude 11180[m]-Range of variables in the I-P (English) system of units:Temperatures : -225.67 T 662.0 [F]Relative Humidity: 0 RH 100 [%]Humidity Ratio: 0 W 10 [lb/lb]Pressure: 3.19083 P 26.10679[psi]Altitude (approximate): -16800 Altitude 36670[ft]-For each combination of input thermodynamic properties, it calculates and provides the user with information about the appropriate input values in the valid range of computations.-Results can be sent by email in an HTML file along with a comma-separated value (CSV) file.
