Proud Patriots Stand Up is an app that allows you to hear music played on base with accompanying video to the National Anthem, Evening Colors, and Taps.

While stationed at a military base, personnel listen to the National Anthem everyday either at 0800 or sunset depending on the customs of that particular base. It provides us a brief moment to reflect on its meaning and to also reflect on the millions of men and women who have worn the cloth of our nation and protected its shores from our foes since 1776. During the song, all personnel on base face the flag, come to attention and salute. All cars stop moving. Civilians turn towards flag and place hand over their heart. Everyone on base is expected to show respect for the flag and their country. On last note of song, personnel stop salute, but stay at attention until the sound of carry on. Proud Patriots not only gives you the chance to show your respect everyday, but also provides the option to listen other songs and sounds played on base daily. This includes Reveille, First call, Evening Colors and Taps. Videos also accompany the National Anthem, Evening Colors, and Taps to remind us of the sacrifices made for this great county.
