Power Flow Analysis for Android

Developer's Description

This simulator uses the DC power flow analysis to get the power flow and current through each line. In the beginning there is 5 buses into which you can add generators and load real power as the reactive power is considered negligible in the DC power flow analysis. Then you can add the lines that connect the buses and insert its reactance, as the resistor value of the line is considered zero according to the DC power flow analysis. Then you are ready to make the simulation and get the results of the power flow.

To delete an object after adding it : just add the object again on the same bus and enter an empty or zero value for it (power for generator and load and reactance for line.

Through the home or setting button you can start a new simulation.

Please note when you make any modification in the drawing you must run the simulate before you get the result.

The simulate button will ask you about the voltage in the buses (All the buses have the same voltage) this is used to calculate the current in the line.

Future work: is expected to include more buses and adding transformer to the diagram. Also another way of calculation can be included like Newton-Raphson method.
