PocketPace is a simple application of interest to track and field enthusiasts, including coaches, athletes, and fans. The program allows users to pick from a list of standard track and field events and identify a final target time. The program calculates and displays a list of intermediate times, or splits, based on the appropriate pace to finish the event in the target time. Users may also determine the intermediate distances (such as 400 meters) for which splits will be listed.
Version 3.0 makes appearance changes and fixes a problem related to spacing and font display. Three new events are now available--the 2 Mile, and two events run in American high schools in some states, the 1600 Meter and the 3200 Meter.
