Quick installation & launch: PhotoFiltre Portable installs quickly and cleanly without stuffing your desktop, Start Menu, or Quick Launch with icons. When it opens, the interface will remind you of MS Paint, but once you open a folder and select a picture, PhotoFiltre Portable shows it's no old-school pixel mover.

Basic design, big results: PhotoFiltre Portable offers an impressive collection of filters with a direct preview that updates quickly and allows for a quick round of cropping, editing, and touching up. When users access a photo from a folder, any other pictures are loaded and listed at the bottom of the workspace, making editing multiple files from the same folder quick and easy.

Delete to uninstall: Uninstalling the software is as easy as deleting the EXE and folder from your computer.

Cons

Reasonable limitations: More involved editing jobs would be difficult with PhotoFiltre Portable, but that's to be expected in lighter editing software.

Clunky interface: Graphics fans might dislike the elementary controls, but they are easy to use. The color scheme on the top two menu bars, however, can make it initially difficult to figure out which tools are what.
