PUA Unemployment is a new Federal program that provides financial assistance to those who are unable to work due to the emergency state, and do not qualify for traditional unemployment benefits.
PUA benefits are available for weeks of unemployment beginning February 2nd, 2020, through the week ending December 26th, 2020.
PUA provides a benefit ranging from $117 to $240 per week for up to 39 weeks. If you are eligible to receive a PUA payment for a benefit week, you will also receive an additional $600 weekly in Federal pandemic unemployment compensation benefits for the weeks of March 29th, 2020, through July 25th, 2020. If you've already applied for regular unemployment benefits, and your claim was denied for being monetarily ineligible, you can provide additional information through the PUA system to confirm your PUA eligibility.
This is not an official app for PUA Unemployment. We're just showing you how to benefit from it.
