I don't know who is writing the praises of this garbage product, but I am suspicious. This product has a long way to go before it lives up to what it pretends to be. Kinky run-time erros and cumbersome "insructions" that leave more questions than it answers. Three emails to "Tech Support" over the last several days have gone unanswered. Too bad because it would be a great product if it worked. Don't waste your time or money.

The program will generate a working PHP script for most ?consumer? type folks with simple requirements. But, the flaws in it prevent this from being used as an ?industrial strength? tool in a professional development environment.

SUPPORT EMAIL WAS UNANSWERED! PLUS- 1. Save and reload project does not work, 2. if you upload more than 1 file in the form all are required 3. the program screens are a bit small and sometimes hard to USE.

Recommendation: use the trial - pass on the paid version!

The shame is that this program has the core of a useful and much needed product. It has many great potential features. Unfortunately it is about 80% done.
I have posted a request several days for support which has not been answered.
I requested a refund and have not received an acknowledgement or a refund!!!!!
if i find a better tool i will post it! Meanwhile i will modify the generated pHp code to meet my clients needs!!

In my search for a tool to write data to a Database I ran across PHP Form Wizard. What my lack of knowledge didn't know was that this tool was appropriate for me as i'm hosting my site on a desktop Windows XP Pro box using IIS. The tool was easy and intuitive enought for a middle experienced technical person to figure out. I would highly recommend this tool if your environment fits the requirements. The owners honesty and dedication to the customer has been the best I have ever encountered. Will do business with him if he decides to create a tool that fits my needs. I give 5 stars on Customers Service and ease of the UI of the tool.

PHP Form Wizard is full of features and it is easy to use. I’ve tried several other CGI Script assist programs only to find that they’re highly complex and very difficult to use. This program makes it so easy.
The demo version is very functional and has all but some of the more advanced features. I chose to purchase the full version and had no problem with the download as stated by others. And, Perhaps most impressive is they actually provide customer support! I had a pre-sale question and later had trouble with one of my forms. Both times my questions were answered in less than an hour and I even got a follow-up email from support making sure the solution they provided worked.
If you’re looking for a feature-rich standalone web form processor that’s easy to use, cost effective, with free tech support than look no further. PHP Form Wizard delivers.

PHP Form Wizard has 2 serious bugs that alters how the form behaves IF YOU EDIT OR CHANGE THE ORIGINAL PROJECT BY RUNNING THE WIZARD AGAIN!
Choosing to SAVE the 'project' to work on later creates a file (*.pfw) that is suppossed to let you make changes to the project, then republish the PHP file again. BE WARNED - It DOES NOT WORK RIGHT!!!
If you run a .pfw file and publish the PHP file again, then look at the code of the new php file you will discover:
1) It forgets the ORIGINAL FONT, FONT SIZE, AND FONT COLOR of 'Error Alert' messages (for 'required' fields), and the 'thank you' message
2) It does not include the 'Error Alert' message part of the code for MOST of the originally 'required' fields! (some of your 'required' fields code may be complete, but MOST will be missing the 'Error Alert' message part of the code, and all 'complete' ones will have the wrong font, size and color anyway)
While using the Wizard you'll see that the fields you originally had set as 'required' will still be check marked as 'Require' in the software, but the Error Alert messages for these fields will be reverted to the default message, font and color!
So - if you run a .pfw file and overwrite the original php file (which was correct) you will now have a php file that is NOT CORRECT!
There are 2 ways to fix this:
1- Forget about using the .pfw file (if you saved one from the original project) and just redo the form completely as if it were a brand new project.
2- Run the .pfw file (if you saved one from the original project), THEN EDIT THE PHP FILE TO MANUALLY CORRECT ALL THE MISTAKES!
WHEN CREATING THE VERY FIRST >ORIGINAL< PROJECT, CHOOSE TO NAME THE OUTPUT PHP FILE AS 'XFORM.PHP' (or 'Xwhatever.php'), THEN RENAME THAT FIRST CORRECTLY WORKING PHP FILE BY REMOVING THE 'X' FROM THE NAME. THIS WAY, IF YOU RUN THE .PFW FILE LATER ON
>IT WILL NOT OVERWRITE THE CORRECTLY WORKING PHP FILE THAT YOU ALREADY HAD<.
The developer told me this was too much work to correct any time soon

I am the publisher of PHP Form wizard. I am a regular guy with a day job and of course I am not getting rich from this thing. I have had a few problems with my hosting company and have since changed the entire download process and left the hosting company. Unfortunatly due to a family emergency I was unable to respond as well as I would have liked to earlier in the year. Download the free demo. If you want to buy it I give a complete 30 day money back guarantee so if you dont like it you will never have to pay (charge will be backed out of your credit card before it is due).
I am very sorry for the problems some have had and I did refund all charges. The download problems, combined with some family stuff just caused a massive backlog. I have over 50 positive reviews from customers.
If you want to, download the free version and give it a try... you be the judge and I welcome your comments.

The demo version had lots of promises.
Cons
You need the full version to be able to realy use it. So I went ahead and purchased it. I followed their instructions to download the full version. Their server would not allow me to access it. I contected them several times over the past 3 days. The fact that I can't even get the full version is bad eneough. The way they are hanling it is worse.

I payed for this software 40 minutes ago :)...And it is impossible to login to their download area to get their stuff...I contact them by email 30 minutes ago and I begin to worry :( ...Is that website is nothing but a rip-off ?
