Editors' Review

This screensaver brings a variety of images of America to your desktop. The program's selection of pictures echo a mostly patriotic theme, with shots ranging from the Liberty Bell to the Lincoln Memorial, to headstones in Arlington National Cemetery. However, some images, such as an aerial view of Manhattan and a shot of San Francisco's famous Golden Gate Bridge, deviate slightly from the primary idea. Even when configured to a full-screen view, all images appear clear, detailed, and professionally rendered. If you want to add an artier flair to the experience, you can even choose to view all pictures in black-and-white. The application lets you select the speed and style of transition effects, set the interval between images, and disable the rather generic soundtrack. The trial version subjects you to a tiny, unobtrusive nag screen, but doesn't burden your computer with any privacy-compromising adware. Folks with a strong sense of American pride should enjoy this screensaver a great deal.
