The OCA Eagles app will be used by Ozark Christian Academy to keep school parents informed and connected.
The app requests permission to send notifications so that parents can be informed of school closings due to inclement
weather, etc. The app also gives the parent an option to download offline content so that various information can be seen even if the phone is disconnected from a network.
Also included are IN APP Messages where teachers can send specific notifications to specific groups. These groups that we have labeled "Grades" are groups that parents can select as to which notification they receive. Only parents who have an account and sign up will receive these notifications.
A social feature that has been included allows authorized users to interact with on another in a safe environment,
Once signed in a parent will be able to find a quick and handy link to email teachers. This will open their email application on their device. This will also be under authorized accounts so that only parents will have the ability to access this feature, thus cutting down on possible spam.
Calendar: This is a link to the school's Calendar in PDF format. It will be accessible by anyone who downloads the app.
My Account: this gives the parent the ability to sign up for an account and sign in to access the locked features of the app.
