This simple tool effectively locates deleted files, but you can only restore them after purchase. Kernel Nucleus Undelete's Windows Explorer-style interface displays recovered folders and their contents in a clear-cut tree-style list. The scan is easily initiated, but the process takes some time as it searches the entire drive. Kernel Nucleus Undelete recovers files and folders, with options to preview, delete, or restore, although the demo disables the restore function. A time-saving feature lets you create a snapshot of the results and save it for future scans. One disadvantage of this program is it can't recover files in hard drives from a crashed system. Despite the lengthy scan time, the program didn't use too many of our computer's resources or impact other running programs. Kernel Nucleus Undelete is simple to use, but you can easily find a number of file-recovery tools that will restore deleted files at no cost.
