Microdesk

This application provides you with several virtual desktops for organizing your programs and operations. Microdesk places a small transparent menu above your system tray displaying the first 10 desktops created, but you can craft up to 99. Each desktop can have its own name and displays its own wallpaper, icons, and distinct password. You'll be able to access each with a predefined hot key or voice-command phrase, or right out of the menu bar. Microdesk's intuitive interface lets you modify the desktop menu settings, such as positioning, movement, display, transparency, and focus effects. The application manager conveniently allows you to drag and drop programs from one desktop to another. This handy software offers many great options and, best of all, it's free.
