MasterSeries is an audio mastering software package full of high-end features. These impressive features were all built to solve your sound engineering problems. Just a short list of MasterSeries' powerful sound editing features includes: Auto-expansion noise gate / Auto-mix channel conversion / Analogue tape simulation / Batch processing controller / Bit-dithered depth conversion / Digital noise-shaping engine / Fast amp volume reduction / Protective loudness booster / Protective spike limiter / Protective RMS targeter / Stereo soundstage controller. This sound engineering software is clean and intelligent. With the built-in "what you hear" sound-tweaking panel and graphical wave display, MasterSeries makes it easy to manipulate your sound just the way you like it. All the audio mastering features in this high-definition sound software are possible through 64-bit double-precision algorithms. This means your wave files are treated with excellent audio clarity. Sampling rates can be as high as 192 KHz per channel for absolutely pure sound engineering. If you're fed up with so-called "pro" sound engineering tools and you want power with built-in artificial intelligence, MasterSeries is the audio software made for you. Note this audio mastering software is only for processing studio format PCM wave file types (the common WAV format). MasterSeries was not designed for engineering MP3 or WMA sounds.

Version: MasterSeries 6.8
Pretty neat because I can shoot through a lot of work in a few short hours. My clients are happy with the results so I'm going to say this software is very good. It helps pay my studio bills, simple as that.
Some of my large movie sound projects are being rejected due to size limitations. Is this normal or am I missing something?
Really good at simulating old-style analogue tape recording equipment for extra warm tones to shine through but don't expect to work on extremely long (25+ mins) studio tracks in 32bit.
What did I like about this version of Master Series? The user interface just totally rocks! I've tried some other software from WaveGenix and I found this one a little more professional, in the sense that it requires some prior knowledge of decibels and root mean squares. That's a good thing because it also gave me the chance to learn something new about audio. Another cool aspect to this download was the extensive online help. Wow, talk about detailed! Onto the software itself: Perfect clean results in all my test runs using both long and short wave files. When I say long, I mean LONGER than the average wave. I forced a 192 minutes stereo PCM at the MovieMaster module and it worked like a dream. Is there anyone else who needs this? Then download Master Series! I think the quickest module was SquashMaster but it treated my test peaks a little differently. This is great for peak distortion. Here's something I really loved about this product: LoopMaster took a folder containing well over 6500 stereo wav samples and made them ALL the same loudness. I don't mean simple normalization, I mean what you hear is something quite unique to WaveGenix products. This is something I've noticed in their other programs too. The loudness (RMS???) is adjusted so my ears think everything is the same volume level. It's a true gem for preparing my mixers and tracking software files. You'll probably be reading my other reviews for WaveGenix because I'm mental about this gear. Love it!
Version 6.8.3 greatly improves all effects previews and significantly reduces final processing time. The stereo width control gives a much bigger image for mono sources compared with previous versions.
