Editors' Review

If you like the classic conquest board game of Risk, you'll like this somewhat simplified game made for your iPhone or iPod Touch. Much like the Mac version of Lux, Lux Touch offers colorful graphics and fun gameplay--even if it's only one map on your iPhone or iPod Touch. Touch or slide your finger to adjacent countries to attack and try to control continents to increase your armies. As big Lux fans, this is a welcome addition to the iPhone game category. We would like to be able to play on more maps and against human players, and the ability to select difficulty level would be a welcome addition. The most missed feature though is the ability to save the game, so make sure you have time to play when you start. Fortunately, according to the developer, these features are all coming in a later deluxe version of the game, but may mean we'll have to pay for this currently free app. Anyone who enjoys Risk or the Mac version of Lux will enjoy virtually taking over the world with this free game.
