Editors' Review

Generate complete system reports with this easy-to-use freeware that lets you know what's in and on your computer. LookInMyPC offers 40 categories for report contents, including CPU information and installed software, with a check box next to each. Easily understandable buttons offer two shortcuts to select or deselect all reports, and generate them. There isn't a help file, but you'll find links to useful descriptions next to each category within the report. LookInMyPC captures information on all your hardware, from the processor to the mouse, and software, including installed programs, running processes, and Registry run entries. Links for report items launch a Google search. This isn't a diagnostic tool; it won't identify issues or tell you how to fix problems. It does provide comprehensive system information in an easy-to-read format and anyone can use it.
