Little Reader for Small Readers

A reading software to help children improve their reading skills. The software contains 10 stories with activities. The child types his/her name and becomes the central character in the stories. Each word in the story has a sound track to help the student with their pronunciation, and some of the words have simple pictures to help them conceptualize. Each story concludes with a set of simple activities such as crosswords, hangman selecting the correct answer.

The stories are informative with some of them teaching important ethical principles on topics such as bullying; or, students can travel through Europe or Asia and learn a unique vocabulary.

Students whose first language is not English may also be exposed to cultural topics unique to Western society such as living in a winter season.

There is quite a lot of "stuff" in this software, so children should be able to improve their reading and expand their minds.
