Line enables you to share messages, updates, photos, video, emoji, and more with your friends.
Free messaging, voice, and video calls: Line offers free messaging and voice and video calls to other Line users in your country. In our tests, we were pleased with the sound quality.
Groups: You can create groups with up to 199 people.
Timeline: The Timeline turns Line into a social media platform, where you can post messages, emoji, photos, videos, links, and location. Post publicly, to friends, or privately.
Keep: Store data such as photos, video, and messages in Keep for easy sharing. Download it under Settings, then Line Apps.
Great privacy settings: Line offers plenty of great privacy features so that you can control who can contact you and see your posts. Head to Settings, then Privacy, to add a Passcode Lock that keeps others out of the app.
Secure setup: Register by email and password or with Facebook. In order to give Line access to your contacts, you must first enter your phone number, so Line can message you a verification code. Once you input it, you are given the option to automatically add friends and allow others to add you before Line starts accessing your contacts.
Stickers and themes: Thousands of emoji and stickers are now free to download. You can purchase premium stickers and themes from the new, easy-to-search Sticker Shop and Theme Shop.
Line apps and games: There are 16 apps and 19 games available for download under Settings. Search games by New, Top, or Category.
Official Accounts: Official Accounts provide up-to-the-minute information from your favorite entertainers, athletes, and news sources.
Charge for certain calls: Line charges you to place calls to non-Line users, nationally and internationally.
Sticker download slowdowns: Every time we tried to download stickers or themes, it took a long time.
If you're emoji-obsessed, then Line is a must-have messaging app.
