Red Velvet ( ) or ReVel or RV is a girl group from South Korea formed by SM Entertainment, after 5 years of debut in 2009. Seulgi was the first member to join SM since 2007. Then, Irene in 2009, Yeri in 2011. While Wendy and Joy just joined in 2012. Red Velvet debuted on August 1, 2014 with the song "Happiness" with members, Irene, Seulgi, Wendy and Joy. Their second song is titled "Be Natural" released October 13, 2014. The song is a recycled song from a 2000 song belonging to girl group S.E.S with the same title. On March 11, 2015, SM announced that it would add 1 new member named Yeri. He debuted with other Red Velvet members during the comeback of the first mini album "Ice Cream Cake" which was launched on March 18 2015
