The Jacaranda Childrens Choir (JCC) is an internationally acclaimed childrens choir. Founded in 1978, the choir has established itself as a national asset, representing all cultural groups, and acting as ambassadors for South Africa when travelling nationally and abroad. The Choir is one of South Africas most successful choirs who regularly bring audiences to their feet with outstanding performances. JCC consists of around 95 singers between 9 and 16 years, representing some 52 schools within the Greater Tshwane Metropol and surrounding areas. The choirs repertoire includes a wide variety of genres and styles that vary from classical music, jazz and light music to folk music from around the world, including Africa.Nurturing a strong team spirit and our shared values cultivated through friendship, a growing appreciation for music and an exceptional conductor have contributed to the choir being one of South Africas finest childrens choirs.
