Infinity Blade III for iOS builds on its prior success by delivering even better graphics while preserving the easy gameplay that was introduced with the original title. Like all games in the trilogy, this premium product features a world, larger than what has been introduced before -- this time eight times larger than Infinity Blade II.
After a lengthy installation, which requires at least 4GB of free space on the device, Infinity Blade III ends up taking 2.2GB. When launched for the first time, you are presented with a tutorial in case you're new to the game. During our tests we were quite impressed in terms of graphics and performance. The game runs without stuttering or glitches, even with special effects turned on. While delivering the same kind of gameplay as its predecessors, Infinity Blade III tries to spruce things up by adding more collectable items in the world, which you can later use to create potions, gems, and other upgrades. The developers have also added a second currency, which you earn by completing goals or using in-app purchases. Lastly, we were pleased with the addition of the "Explore" mode, where you can visit previously cleared areas to gain more experience and items.
If you've been a fan of the previous installments in the trilogy, Infinity Blade III will definitely not disappoint you. This premium game essentially maintains the same gameplay dynamics of its predecessors, but enhances it with some new features and improved graphics.
