• Easy for our non-technical users

  Easy for our non-technical users, we do remote tech support and even our least technical users can get us the information we need to connect.

  Cons

  Under windows 10, if you run the install it installs into the "Program Files (x86)" folder. Cut it and paste it into regular "Program Files" folder and it works as it is supposed to.

  Summary

  We put it on every pc here and it is useful on a daily basis.

  Doesn't hide my IP address.....I downloaded it and went searching around to see if I am actually invisible online, and it put out the same information that it was before. I actually found a site that said accurate information from where I was from....I STRONGLY don't reccomend this program

• Slightly Pointless Program

  In Windows XP, the information that this program provides, is readily available after two clicks of the taskbar. I was very tempted to recommend this program, even though it is a bit pointless, but then I had a look to see how much RAM it uses. According to Task Manager it uses 3088KBs. ThatÂ’s 3.01MBs! All to show you your IP address, that Windows (XP at least) already has and can show you after two clicks. OK, 3MB of RAM isn't much, but on my system it represents a fraction over 1% of my RAM and is the 8th highest consumer of RAM when nothing else is running. If it only used half a MB of RAM to run, it might be worth having, albeit slightly indulgent, but using 3MB is just a waste of system resources, no matter how much you have.

  One single file, place it one your desktop, start it and it appears in the taskbar, hold your mouse on it to see your ip, right click and choose "Copy to clipboard" and it copies your ip as if you have done it with "CRTL C".

• Absolutely pointless for computers on a LAN

  This program simply displays information you can easily obtain by right-clicking on your connection in the taskbar (Windows). On a LAN, it's simply your LAN IP and nothing more. eg 192.168.x.x
