Does not appear to work under Windows 10

- This used to be a brilliant little program and free. Ran fine under Vista, Win 7 and Win 8.
- Cons
- Will not launch under Windows 10. Says it needs .net version 3.5 and asks to install this. When PC confirms that .net 3.5 is installed, program still refuses to run and puts up the same error message about needing .net 3.5. Running as Administrator does not help, skipping the step to install .net 3.5 does not help.

- We need a work-around or an updated version which does run under Win 10.

- Excellent software, did not come with any toolbars etc. saved me a lot of time. Simple and pretty easy to get the hang of, and it actually saved my changes - a lot of editors, such as MP3tag, I cannot get to actually save my edits, rendering it quite useless, but this one worked, fortunately.

- Both minor, but what Windows calls the "Album Artist" is apparently called the "Band/Orchestra" here, and I would like the option to be able to set different track numbers for different tracks; for example by date modified.
- Summary
- It's not absolutely perfect, but it's a fine choice for adding tags to whole albums and saved me a lot of the hassle quite quickly.
Software is fine, shame about the accompanying junkware

- It's fairly intuitive and should be adequate to tidy up my (large & v. messy) mp3 collection.

- Couldn't get the connection to FreeDB to work. But the real drawback is the junkware (Wajam, Iminent) that gets installed unbidden at the same time. I used to think CNET was pretty trustworthy in this regard, but I'm getting very wary now about installing "free" software from here or anywhere else.

- Tagging and organizing MP3s in simple and easiest way without any problems. It's absolutely FREE with no ads or spywares inside. Works like (or better than) pros and commercial related apps.

- Too bad the developer has stopped the developing of this app. :( I haven't tested it in Win 7 and i have no idea does it works fine as in earlier version of windows.

- If you familiar with 'tagging' and 'organizing' MP3s, you will get no troubles at all unless you don't have MS .Net at least v2.0 installed in your computer because w/o dotNET installed, the app won't run at all. So make sure you've already have dotNet installed in your compie. Ive used this app since the first public version released and i was so in love with it and never used any other organizing and tagging apps since except SoftPointer's AudioShell135. Just download and try it yourself and you'll find it very useful for you. As i said in Cons section, it's not supported by the developer no more.. :( because i really wanna try to use it in Windows 7.

- when I make entries to my mp3's for player, it has a mind of its own. I notice that what put in the fields, changed. Ver: 1 field to simple, does't have custom genre. Ver: 2 fields are auto entered after I made entries, without me knowing.

- I've been using this program for over a year (yes, it downloads from here just fine even today) and it has become the first and last program I use for finalizing MP3 rips. The biggest help is the ability to see and change both version 1.x and version 2.x tags and filenames in batch mode. It allows me to clean up hundreds of old MP3s in just a few minutes. It even easily identifies that one of the hundreds that is at a lower bit rate and needs to be reripped. FANTASTIC!!!
