From humble beginnings in Waco, Texas, 22 year-old Holly Tucker has been singing since she was 3 years old. She got on stage for the first time at her home church in Waco, TX when she was 7 years old, and has been singing professionally since the age of 12. She has always known her true passion to be in country music.
Holly entered the national conversation in June 2013 when she rose to the Top 6 out of 40,000 auditioners on Season 4 of NBC TVs hit music reality show, The Voice. 14 million viewers tuned in each week for two months to the Emmy award-winning season as Holly, from Team Blake Shelton, delivered the most powerful performances ever seen on the show. Holly was one of only seven contestants, that season, to receive a chair turn from all four coaches, Blake, Shakira, Usher, and Adam Levine. She was uniquely prepared for this elite level of performance. She has recorded 4 albums to her credit, including seven of her own original songs. Since starring on The Voice, she has made over 400 appearances, in 17 states and Canada, while continuing as a full-time student at Baylor University, in Waco. As of May 16, 2015, Holly now holds her Bachelors Degree in Corporate Communications.
Moving forward, Holly is pursuing her career in Texas Country music. She has released her single, More Than Just A Word, and is in the process of finishing a brand new album, due to be completed in the fall of 2015. She is destined for the national spotlight with a voice that has been described by Blake Shelton as the most effortless, accurate, and powerful voice he has ever heard.
