HEROES is a digital solution to support treatment and recovery through Choice, Collaboration, and Courage. Reach out, connect, and track your new lifestyle.

Reminders

Transitioning into treatment can involve a lot of details to keep track of. Give yourself a break and let the HEROES app send alerts about appointments, to-do items, treatment groups, medication, doctor's appointments, and other recovery related activities.

Task Tracking

Get help creating habit-forming behaviors. Monitor checklist items and next steps after enrollment to stay organized and keep you on track in early recovery and beyond. Need an alert about your upcoming counseling appointment, a prompt to practice a moment of gratitude each morning, or a reminder to check in with your peer recovery coach? Our app can help you stay focused and build long term recovery.

Stay Connected

Securely message HEROES staff with questions or concerns. Access important information with the click of a button, such as pharmacy info, doctor and clinic contacts, phone numbers, addresses, and other information if you misplaced your initial enrollment paperwork. Complete short surveys to monitor recovery progress and update HEROES staff about how you are doing.

Support Networks

Access meeting finders to stay plugged into the recovery community and expand your support network. Search our database of every kind of support available. AA, NA, OA, Peer Support, and many more near you. Or add your own support meetings that you attend. The app provides driving directions to the meeting, plus phone numbers and notes. The app also allows for location-based "check in" (if GPS is activated for your account).

Journal

Record your thoughts and feelings, like a recovery blog, for your new journey. This serves as a record of healing and also provides your supporters a window into your new life. Collaborate with your counselor or peer coach to use this component as a part of your treatment plan. Of course, you control your privacy and can keep this to yourself, if you prefer.

Positive Reinforcement

Reward yourself with points for meeting recovery milestones and engaging in treatment opportunities, such as support groups, educational groups, individual counseling, taking medication, and completing other personalized tasks.

Important: GPS is an optional component of this app. Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. As part of a clinical engagement this app may track your location in the background at all times. This setting can be disabled by the phone owner in settings or by your clinician within the web settings. You can view the tracked path under the "Locations" screen."
