GumPad is an easy to use editor for composing text in Indian languages. It works almost like notepad for editing text. Type text into the editor like how most Indian names and words are spelled in English and convert the typed text to an Indian script. Vowels and consonants from Indian languages are mapped to similar sounding vowels and consonants in English and the translation map can be changed to suit standard schemes like ITRANS or to suit individual preferences.

What's new in version 3.1.3.13
Fixed an issue with saving files without specifying an extension to ensure files are saved in Rich Text Format or Unicode format to preserve Indic characters. Save files in Rich Text (.rtf) format if you are using an older version, as a workaround until you can update to this version.
