MEDITATION: 12 MINUTES IS ENOUGH
The program in this app is based on a well tested meditation program. The program is described in the book "12 minutes to success - become happier, smarter and calmer through meditation", written by Henning Daverne in collaboration with neuroscientist Troels W. Kjaer.
Many peoble perceive meditation as a time-consuming and complicated activity reserved for spiritually ambitious people. But today we know that even short and simple meditation sessions are enough to change your brain if they happen regularly.
BEFORE AND AFTER TEST
As soon as you start your program you will be tested on stress, health and happiness before the program starts, so you have your starting point. After completing the program for 6 weeks you will be tested again so you can see your development. You can always see your test results in your profile
YOU CAN MEDITATE ANYWHERE
12 minutes is all it takes, everyone can find 12 minutes. In a meeting room. In the bus, train, even in your car on a parking lot. In the bedroom after the shower. In the evening while the family is watching TV. Meditation can take place anywhere. No area of your life will suffer if you set 12 minutes aside for meditation. Whereas all areas could gain from the positive effect of meditation. And then there's a bonus.
SPARK DIARYBesides 8 guided meditations you will also find a SPAKR diary in the app. Here you trace your SPARK consisting of Spark and Joy, Presence, Inspiration, Synchronicity, Gratitude. The SPARK diary is an active tracking tool that in 6 weeks will help you become more aware of which direction you should go in your life to experience more happiness, meaning and enthusiasm

When you follow the program in this app you will be invited to meditate 12 minutes daily and thus invest effectively in more joy and increased presence. Within 6 weeks of daily meditation, the brain changes, the change occurs because your concentration during meditation redirects the blood flow and activity in your brain. This redirection strengthens those parts of the brain that are associated with calm, satisfaction and well-being, while the parts that have to do with stress, anxiety and depression become less active. Centers of calm and focus grow, and centers of stress, anxiety and aggression diminish.
