Flashcards for Basic Math is a flash card type application to help someone learn basic multiplication, division, addition, and subtraction. When starting a session, the user is timed to encourage them to try and beat their previous best in an attempt to make learning math fun, while also providing a way to gauge their progress. The user can customize the session by selecting the start and end range of the first and second numbers from 1 to 12, along with what operator they would like to practice. There are three session modes. Sequential, which will present the problems in numeric order. Random, which presents the problems in random order. Finally there is learning mode which will presents the problems in random order, but will keep presenting the problems until each one is correctly answered in 2 1/2 seconds or less. At any time while practicing, the timer can be paused, or the session can be just canceled. The results of each session are saved locally for later review if desired. The session data can be deleted at any time. Finally, there is a reminder option which will remind someone to practice their math facts every 24 hours after they have either quit the application, or put it in the background. All of the settings are also put into iCloud so they can be shared on another device the user may have.
