We all have different ways of keeping track of our schedules; some of us favor Web-based calendars, whereas others prefer to keep paper planners. Although many people like software-based schedulers, these calendars have a major drawback in that they're not easily accessible if you're away from your computer. Exstora is a basic scheduler that's small enough to be carried on a thumbdrive. Although its features aren't particularly impressive, it's not bad choice for people who like to keep track of their schedules on multiple machines, whether they have Internet access or not.
The program's interface is plain, consisting of a tall, skinny rectangle with a calendar at the top and a space for events and notes beneath. Users can create several different types of events; there are long-term, to-do, and recurrent items, and users can set alerts so that Exstora will remind them of events in advance. The program even has an Eye Care feature that can remind users to take a break from their computers and rest their eyes every so often. In addition to events, Exstora also lets users create notes, which can be organized into categories and searched. The program's built-in Help file is a little vague about some features, but for the most part it's adequate. Exstora isn't nearly as comprehensive as programs like Micosoft Outlook, which lets users manage their schedules and also integrate them with their e-mail; Exstora is a pretty bare-bones program. But for people who need a lightweight, portable scheduler, it just might fit the bill.
Exstora installs and uninstalls without issues. We recommend this program to everyone.
Exstora is a multi-functional day planner, calendar, and notes organizer with thought through quick note editing and structuring system. Store plans, reminders, and continuous and repetitive events. You can run it from a flash drive.
