Free, tons of recruitable/playable characters, great pull from masterpiece games of the PS1-2 era. Great story to follow along and very good character development.
It's some minor glitches and the fact all the graphics and music is borrowed, but it's really not enough to put a damper on it. Story isn't as in-depth, but again, that's just extreme nitpicking.
I honestly am not sure if Holybride is an implied troll or what (no offense if you aren't), but it is an old-school game, and that is what makes it fascinating and fantastic. Your zero rating for the music leads me to believe your rating can't be serious, since it draws from some of the best PS-era soundtracks around. Back to the game: Simply outstanding. For fans of older games that this one draws from (Suikoden I and II mostly for gameplay and style, FF, Xenogears and Wild Arms for music, a lot of others for story 'feel'), this thing will kick your socks off. It is simply fantastic and I was overwhelmed at the beginning with how awesome it was. Knowing it was related to Suikoden kind of gives away some things, but this game does not become just a shadow. It stands on its own, rather beautifully. I only wish that Konami would just buy it out and outfit it with its own music and graphics, then mass-produce and sell it. It is that good, and when you consider this was made by a single person? Get out. Actually, no, come back! Download it and have fun.
