DiscretePath is a user-friendly and accessible software for drawing, visualizing, and analyzing networks (graphs). It is developed with the philosophy that graph layouts have to be clean and the analyses transparent and straightforward.

What's new in version 2.2.9
Improvements:
- DiscretePath has been streamlined with DiscretePathPLUS (https://www.intrinsic-code.eu/download-discretepath/): both now have an identical user interface and contextual menus. The distinction between DiscretePath and the advanced version DiscretePathPLUS is clarified when functions unique to DiscretePathPLUS are initiated in DiscretePath.
- A menu item is added to the menu bar to reset all edges of a graph to their default color.
Menu bar -> "Edit" -> "Set all edges to the default color"
This can be useful if, for example, after the calculation of the edge betweenness, the graph has been saved and the user wants to delete the results afterwards.
Bug fixes:
- When data was added to a graph using the 'Import into the current graph' menu item and most of the data was identical to the current graph, an exception could occur.
- In previous versions, when DiscretePath was restarted after a crash, the window with the option to reopen the graph that was being edited or analyzed at the time of the crash was hidden behind the main window. In this version, the main window is now minimized so that the ‘options window’ is visible.
