Some examples of these are: str in string, sch in school, sph in sphere, and spl in splash.This game is a great way for your child to identify digraphs and trigraphs commonly used in the classroom. It will show your child an image and ask them to pick the train car with the matching digraph or trigraph. They can play in three modes:Practice Mode - This mode is great for a child just beginning to learn about digraphs and trigraphs. They can select which level they would like to practice and if they pick the wrong answer it will help them learn the correct one. Digraphs & Trigraphs - This mode challenges your child by earning points for each correct answer. They will be given 4 digraphs or trigraphs and asked to pick the correct one based on its sounds. Images - This mode works the same as Digraphs & Trigraphs, except now your child is given 4 images that begin with a digraph or trigraphs and asked to pick the correct one based on its beginning sound. If they make 3 mistakes they have to start the level over. Complete all 5 levels to win.
