DeskTicker is a very simple RSS reader that grabs CNN's Top Stories and puts them on your desktop. If you see a headline you would like to read more about, click the static blue link immediately below the changing headlines while your headline is being displayed, and it will open your news story in your default browser window. It's just that easy. You can choose to keep the ticker always on top of other windows or not by right-clicking on the icon in your system tray and choosing always on top-yes or no.
Headlines rotate every 10 seconds. Updates news feeds roughly every 2 minutes. Run your mouse pointer over the system tray icon to see when it was last updated. Version 1.0.2373.16778 may include interface, made final product smaller and automatically startup in the bottom right corner of your screen, regardless of resolution, added the ability to change RSS feeds dynamically.
