Editors' Review

by   / February 17, 2013

Playing Mah Jong on your own may seem improbable. But, Daily Mah Jong for Mac might be able to fix your problem with a solitaire version that has a variety of customizable features to help you create your ideal Mah Jong game.

Daily Mah Jong for Mac allows the user to modify their game easily in its interface. You can change the style of the deck in numerous ways, as well as choose different versions of the game. You can modify tile types, backgrounds, symbol sets, and music, and in some cases try out hundreds of styles. The interface is uncluttered and easy to interpret. The program loads quickly, and the screen size can easily be changed. Overall the game gives off a peaceful vibe that is directly in tune with what Mah Jong is all about. The only drawback of the program is that it loads into the Mac Game Store so it is not as quick to access. The trial version of this program lasts for 60 minutes. The unlimited full version retails for $6.99.

Daily Mah Jong for Mac succeeds as a workable solitaire version of Mah Jong for regular use. This program is suitable for both basic and advanced players who play traditional and modern versions of Mah Jong and are interested in playing on their own.

Editors' note: This is a review of the trial version of Daily Mah Jong for Mac 1.0.
