DLSuperC is a file-comparison program that lets users filter or ignore changes that are temporarily considered unimportant (programming language comments or reformatted lines, for example). It can detect lines that have moved out of sequence, as well as alterations to vital programs. It also checks for program changes among different software versions, and produces brief or annotated reports that outline the file differences.
The newest version features significant program enhancements and fixes. It can process files that are bigger than 64K lines. (An extended directory version of this program is DLSuperCX.) The selection of files also has been significantly updated, and a Save Dropdown Stacks function is provided for the file selection panels.
